Pebble Time Gets Firmware Update, Gets Backlight, Font, Vibration Settings
The Pebble smartwatch is going through an upgrade that will bring a new search bar, preserved notification preference and other features. Pebble has announced a firmware update for Pebble Time as requested by the community.
Apart from bringing a Pebble firmware update, the watch’s Android counterpart gets a boost and moves to version 3.2.0. The new update will allow users to adjust the intensity and time-out duration of the backlight. You will also be allowed to adjust the system’s font size and vibration strength of alerts.
The company also made sure that the users don’t face a problem while running the update on their smartwatch. Just follow the steps: “Select Menu » Support » Update Your Pebble within the Pebble Time app for iOS or Android.”
The new “Dismiss all” action added to the notification setting will dismiss all notifications received through your watch. Users will experience better notification settings with some minor changes.
The smartwatch brand has added support for popular music players such as Spotify, Pandora and Songza. To match the current playback status, the app has separate play and pause buttons. Improved display of track metadata will add to the musical experience of Android users.
