What's This?

On Monday night, rapper Tyga is setting the record straight after the famous bassist of the band the Beatles Paul McCartney was denied entry into his Grammy party.

The English singer-songwriter and composer McCartney was spotted alongside the American singer, songwriter Beck and Taylor Hawkins (famous as the drummer of the rock band Foo Fighters) waiting outside Hollywood’s Argyle where Tyga performed in the post-awards ceremony.

As stated by TMZ, “Paul McCartney, Beck and Taylor Hawkins were not denied at the event, but instead there was a mix up. The representative claimed that McCartney was trying to go to Mark Ronson’s Republic Records party which was at Hyde Lounge, and once the music icon figured that out he left.”

Billboard reports that Paul McCartney can be heard poking fun at the set of circumstances, saying, “How VIP do we gotta get? We need another hit.”

Tyga took on social media on Tuesday to post his true feelings about the Paul McCartney, an 18-time Grammy winner. “Why would I deny @PaulMcCartney, stop it. He’s a legend [—-]

“I don’t control the door. I had no knowledge SIR PAUL was there. I just performed and left.”

However, ET Online states that Paul McCartney was later seen at the Republic Records GRAMMY after-party alongside the American actor, activist and playwright Woody Harrelson and Beck. The 73-year-old music icon presumably had no trouble getting into the event.

The Beatles legend was joined by Grammy’s album of the year winner Taylor Swift, The Weeknd (Canadian singer and songwriter), Ariana Grande, singer Selena Gomez, and the singer behind the song Royals, Lorde.

A source stated that, “Paul McCartney literally danced the night away with his wife, Nancy. So adorable.”
