A man named Paul Kuzan has been indicted with murder by Philadelphia police for allegedly shooting his new wife with a crossbow, killing her.Advertisement
The 40-year-old man has been charged with the murder of 42-year-old Pamela Nightlinger. Shockingly, Kuzan and his now-deceased-wife had been married for only nine days.
According to ABC, police informed the press that the man gave a full confession to the crime. It was on Sunday night before 9:30 p.m. when 911 calls were made to call the police. The calls were made from a house in the 3100 block of Willits Road.
“I just heard banging on the door and my son screaming and someone saying ‘help,'” Margie Maldonado, a neighbor, said.
After allegedly shooting his wife, the man stood naked in the doorway of his Northeast Philadelphia home. It was alleged that he killed his wife with a high-velocity crossbow.
Police and residents said that, however, it was not the first time he had exposed himself to the neighborhood lately.
Many of his neighbors said that almost a week earlier, the man was entirely naked as he walked to the business plaza, across the street from his house on the 3100 block of Willits Road. The incident caused a disturbance inside a mixed martial arts gym, said Philly.
“He claims that he was into religion,” said Richard Orr. “But every commandment that I know of he broke, including, ‘Thou shalt not murder.’ ”
The father also said that his daughter, Paul Kuzan’s ex-wife, was mentally, physically, and emotionally abused by Kuzan during their decade-long marriage.
“He would say to my granddaughter at the age of 11 or 12, ‘I’m your husband, you’re my wife. I am God, you will do what I tell you,'” Orr said.
