What is in store for Claire Beauchamp (Caitriona Balfe) and James “Jamie” MacKenzie Fraser (Sam Heughan) in “Outlander” season 3?
The latest spoilers have suggested that life would be different for both of them in the upcoming new season of the British-American television drama series.
What could be its expected plot? How would it unfold?
As noted in the third book of Diana Gabaldon, time travel and sea voyage is being highlighted. Therefore, it is anticipated that the third season of its TV-adaptation would also carry the same plot. After all, book 3 is called “Voyager.”
What fans should look forward to now with “Outlander” season 3 would be the way the production team, including the directors and actors, attack every detail of the story.
According to Yahoo! News, Claire would be reuniting with a changed Jamie – someone opposite to the man she fell in love with.
With the hardships that Jamie has to experience, he will be forced to get “involved in illegal activities.”
Of course, Claire does not approve any of them especially that they have finally seen each other once again after two decades of living apart “following Jamie’s instruction to travel back to the future for the safety of their unborn child.”
Meanwhile, the recent “Outlander” season 3 spoilers have also dished that a pregnant Claire was spotted filming some scenes at University of Glasgow. Accordingly, the institution is “doubling” as Oxford University, where Frank works as a history teacher.
During the Creative Arts Emmys over the weekend, showrunner Ronald D. Moore teased about the third season being “a big, new, brand-new season,” Gold Derby reported.
“It’s very exciting,” he said. “The third book’s called ‘Voyager’ and it’s as different from the second season as the second was from the first.”
When it comes to the “Outlander” season 3 air date, Moore’s own set of spoilers have not disclosed any.
