Recent Outlander Season 2 episode 12 spoilers suggest that the upcoming episode of the adventure-drama series titled “The Hail Mary” will show how Jamie Fraser attempts to save the Highland culture from the Jacobite army. The never-give-up spirit of Fraser, portrayed by Sam Heughan, could save the lives of 2,000 Scotsmen from an impending slaughter.
In Saturday’s episode, viewers will be taken to Jamie and Claire in Inverness, where they await the Battle of Culloden of 1975. The confrontation with the Jacobite army led to massive losses for Scotland, which put an end to its traditional Highland way of life, Vanity Fair reported.
“As Jamie puts all of his efforts into turning the Jacobite army away from the impending slaughter at Culloden Moor, Claire attempts to comfort the sick Alex Randall,” TV News’ Outlander Season 2 episode 12 spoilers revealed. “She is stunned when Alex reveals an outrageous plan to save the mother of his child.”
Jamie is bent on preventing the Jacobite army from jeopardizing the Highland culture and massacre the Culloden Moor. The Radio Times reported that Jamie and Claire will discuss their promise made in Paris about disposing off Black Jack Randall when the right time arrives.
Fans will see Claire insisting Jamie to promise her that he will not confront Captain Jonathan Randall. But Claire’s attempt fails to hold back Jamie, who ventures into the woods for a duel against Black Jack.
Fans will also see Claire come face to face with Mary Hawkins in Inverness. Also, Jamie’s uncle Colum turns up at the Jacobite headquarters, not to join Jamie and Dougal’s cause, but to ask Claire a special favor.
