“Orange is the New Black” star Ruby Rose allegedly bullied a restaurant staff. She reportedly threw fries at a restaurant owner and staff just because her food was served late.
According to Nola Eater, the owner of CBD restaurant Rebellion, Seung Hong, asked the 30-year-old actress to leave the place after she allegedly had “temper tantrum” and threw fries at him and a bartender on Friday.
Accordingly, the actress who plays Stella in the Netflix prison drama series went upset when her group’s orders came in late.
Ruby Rose reportedly claimed that it took an hour before the fries they ordered arrived and 90 minutes more for the other orders to finally be served. However, the restaurant owner denied this saying that her group’s appetizers and entrees were all served within an hour.
Meanwhile, Hong alleged that despite being told that the wait may take longer due to the large parties that they needed to cater that night, the Australia-born actress still got mad even after she was reportedly offered with something that will “compensate” the appetizers.
He further stated that the “Orange is the New Black” star was “trying to be a bully” with how she cursed and threw fries at the bartender.
On the contrary, Ruby Rose reportedly shared that the one who served their order allegedly “made rude and derogatory jokes.”
In the meantime, Nola reported that based on Hong’s account, someone called him up on Friday night to reserve a table for the actress and her group.
While he accepted the reservation, he reportedly said outright that they might be served late because of so many customers that night.
Amid the issue, the former “Australia’s Next Top Model” contestant took to Facebook on Saturday to air her side, “I have huge love, respect and admiration for servers around the world and how hard they work,” she wrote. “I also have mad love for New Orleans and I want to come back 100 times if you will have me.”
Ruby Rose was in New Orleans this week for her show at the Metropolitan Night Club.
