For anyone who is keen about getting the latest “Orange is the New Black” season 4 spoilers, here are some exciting things that its cast members and writer have recently dished.
In an interview with Glamour, Taryn Manning, Lea DeLaria and Selenis Leyva revealed a number of juicy tidbits about their characters in the Netflix comedy-drama series.
Manning, who portrays the role of Tiffany “Pennsatucky” Doggett, admitted that she “freezes” on her lines at times.
“Lea will just look at me, like, ‘Good God, you’re a mess right now,'” the 37-year-old actress shared, to which DeLaria (who will continue to play Carrie “Big Boo” Black in “Orange is the New Black” season 4) responded, “That’s my favorite—when you talk around your line for 10 minutes trying to find it.”
Meanwhile, Leyva, who is Gloria Mendoza in the show, noted that sans styling, they feel that they have they are “artistically free.”
“Isn’t it a relief to go to set and not worry about who is wearing a pencil skirt the best?” the 43-year-old Cuban-born American actress said. “It’s about the art we are creating.”
The “Orange is the New Black” season 4 star even continued disclosing other possible spoilers by saying, “I never thought I’d be a working actress on a hit show—I had been told for 20 years that I wasn’t pretty enough, young enough. I have finally found my band of misfits.”
In the meantime, Manning, who is going to sport a wig in the upcoming season further narrated that she is “privy this particular year because of my wig.”
“They told me why [I got this new wig], and I thought, ‘Oh, that’s going to happen?'” she continued.
As for the part of the “Orange is the New Black” season 4 creator Jenji Kohan, the next episodes are going to be “a little darker, and a little more cynical” for the inmates and workers at Litchfield Penitentiary, The Guardian reported.
On the other hand, considering the fact that the TV series represents a lot of sectors in the society in terms of age, race and sexual preference, Kohan seemed surprised that some considered the characters “unconventional.”
“I feel sad that it’s considered unconventional when these women are, in a lot of ways, conventional,” Kohan said.
Keep posted for more “Orange is the New Black” season 4 spoilers even after premieres on June 17.
