Oppo has just launched a limited edition of their recently released smartphone F1. The limited edition device is said to be part of the Chinese phone manufacturer’s official partnership with the 2016 International Cricket Council or ICC’s World Twenty20 event which is held in India. This recently revealed phone will be called as the Oppo F1 ICC WT20 device.
The limited edition phone, according to Tech Vorm, has the same features as the original F1 device which was launched earlier in January. However, the limited edition version will be having an internal storage of 32GB instead of the 16GB that the original phone has.
The internal storage can also be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. Oppo’s limited edition phone also has an ICC T20 world cup logo on the back cover and will come with a gift pack. The pack includes an ICC WT20 2016 key chain and a selfie stick.
Gadgets 360 adds that the logo is part of the Chinese tech firm’s campaign to “fit the spirit of T20.” Oppo is said to be giving away the handset to the winners of the “Catch the Six” and other contests winners as part of the said campaign.
Oppo India President and Oppo Global VP MD of International Mobile Business, Sky Li, has said that the Chinese firm is happy to launch the customized edition of their Oppo F1 phone for the ICC WT20 2016. Li also said that “It gives us immense pleasure to be associated with ICC and cheer for Team India. We wish Team India success in this tournament.”
Oppo F1 ICC WT20 is still dual-SIM enabled with support for one micro-SIM and one nano-SIM like its original version that was unveiled at the recent CES event last January, reports Indian Express. It runs on Android 5.1 together with the Chinese phone maker’s ColorOS 2.1 user interface while being powered by a 2500 mAh battery.
It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 hexa core processor, a 3GB RAM and comes with Adreno 405 GPU. It has the same 13 megapixel for its rear shooter and 8 megapixel front shooter. The limited edition Oppo F1 ICC WT20 is however available only in one color variant which is Gold and costs 17,990 INR adds Tech2.
