OnePlus X Invite: Smartphone Is Now Invite Free, Power Bank Prices Increased
As we know, buying a OnePlus phone was never easy. You could not get your hands on the device if there was no invite sent to you. With time, OnePlus is changing its policy. When the company started experimenting with open sales, the time period was short. These were mostly festive offers. But then OnePlus Two was made invite-free, and now OnePlus X invite is also not needed.Advertisement
OnePlus via its forum has announced that you will not need a OnePlus X invite to buy one, as the company has made the phone invite-free. While announcing the news, OnePlus in the post wrote,
“We’re extremely excited to be making the OnePlus X invite free more quickly this time around. With every device we release, we grow more mature and more adept at handling the demands and expectations of our community. We largely owe our success to your unrelenting support, so we hope that this development will make the process of purchasing your very own OnePlus X as smooth and effortless as it can possibly be.”
The company further said that “Unlike its predecessor, the OnePlus 2 was invite free approximately four months after its release. With the OnePlus X going invite-free in even less time, this is a trend that we mean to continue.” That means we can expect the upcoming smartphones from OnePlus to go on open sale immediately with the launch. Along with OnePlus X invite free news, the company also declared that it is increasing the prices of Power Bank due to the increased costs in the operations as well as manufacturing.
