What's This?

Political observers fear that the brewing nuclear war in Syria could escalate into a full-blown warfare and nuclear showdown as several neocons nations are flexing their muscles as they ready for an ensuing nuke combat. Could this be World War 3?

But the worst part of this development is that the possible nuclear showdown could be triggered only as a measure by the Saudi Arabia and Turkish governments to protect a front of an internationally-branded terrorists—Al Qaeda. Internationally acclaimed journalist Robert Parry reported, as published by the Consortium News, that the neoconservative nations such as the US, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey are readying to invade the Russia-backed Syria. Should the invasion happens, experts fear that Russian troops of several thousand men, won’t give up without giving a good fight.

It’s not clear whether US President Barack Obama has barred the two nations, Saudi Arabia and Turkey, from invading Syria. If that’s the case, this could mean a catastrophic event, which could lead to the third world war and worst, the nuclear weapon showdown between powerhouse nations. “A source close to Russian President Vladimir Putin told me that the Russians have warned Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that Moscow is prepared to use tactical nuclear weapons if necessary to save their troops in the face of a Turkish-Saudi onslaught,” Parry wrote. Parry added that any miscalculation on the part of Turkey, which is a member-nation of the United Nations, could likely trigger heightened confrontation.

The apparent view of Russia in the US as its enemy is quite glaring, CNN’s Frida Ghitis writes in a commentary report. She said there are enough signs that would prove that Russia has been downplaying the US, together with its allies, with what Russian President Vladimir Putin is doing in Syria. Ghitis added that it’s quite obvious that Putin has been running circles around the US and the rest of the West.
