Fourteen years after they decided to go their different directions, the NSYNC members have finally been reunited.
For those who enjoyed their teenage years in the ‘90s, the American boy band was surely among the best groups they were listening to.
Before there was a successful singer and actor named Justin Timberlake, there lived a five-member boy band called N’SYNC.
Timberlake used to be the group’s tenor along with JC Chasez, while Chris Kirkpatrick was their countertenor, Joey Fatone was baritone and Lance Bass was bass.
Who would have believed that a simple birthday celebration of one of their groupmates will be instrumental for their reunion?
In a snap taken during Chasez’s birthday, all of them were present, Mirror UK revealed.
“JC’s 40th… And, if you don’t know now you know…” Timberlake captioned the reunion photo of NSYNC which he shared on Monday.
Of course, fans were elated to seem them all together in one frame after more than a decade.
“What a time to be alive!” one fan wrote, while another exclaimed, “This makes me so happy.”
Is this already a sign that they are now ready to perform together on one stage? Despite the said photo, there have been no reports yet if they still could rock their popular singles.
In the meantime, E! News reported that aside from Timberlake, another NSYNC member, Kirkpatrick, also had something for the birthday celebrant.
“Happy birthday @JCChasez! Welcome to the old man club!” he posted on Twitter, together with an old photograph of them.
It can be noted that only the two of them are already in their 40s, since all the others are still in their 30s.
According to a source, “The entire party was casual.”
“The restaurant was rented out for JC’s birthday,” the source dished about the party at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood. “JC’s manager, Eric Podwall, gave the first toast, followed by Justin giving a toast with Joey, Lance and Chris standing next to him while he spoke.”
