No Man’s Sky Confirms Release For PC And PlayStation 4
It’s confirmed! The space adventure game, No Man’s Sky, PC and PlayStation 4 versions will be made available this coming June 21. This special news was announced by Hello Games on a blog post.Advertisement
Last October, the space exploring game was announced by the company to be set for release this June 2016. However, no exact date was given and avid gamers were left hanging. The said game can be purchased on the PlayStation Store. Sony, who is also collaborating with Hello Games, will be producing a retail disc – a standard game and a limited edition one, reports Polygon.
The limited game edition package will put the game in a Steelbook case and will include a 48 page art book, a dynamic PS4 theme, pre-order bonus Starter Kit, which is said to include ship boosts, bonus resources and in-game weapon blueprint; and exclusive comic book with comics by Dave Gibbons, James Swallow and Angus Mckie.
Additionally, iam8bit also announced that the No Man’s Sky PC version will also be receiving a collectible Explorer’s Edition. It is now available for pre-orders, better get yours now as the edition only has 10,000 copies.
The said edition will come with a code for a digital copy of the game, a hand painted 8-inch ship replica from the game, a pin and a mystery item which is yet to be revealed during the launching of the game, reports IGN.
The game’s limited edition package costs $59.90 USD based on its listings on the PlayStation Store, GOG and Steam. Meanwhile, the special explorer edition which is available exclusively from iam8bit costs $149.99 USD.
No Man’s Sky is an adventure game that is science-fiction inspired. The game involves a galaxy where players explore and deals with different discoveries that are full of surprises, unique characters and planets. The player fights their way against fierce pirates and the dangers of hostile creatures to survive. The player will be provided with a ship, suit and a range of weapons to do so. On top of this, there is the bigger mystery waiting to be solved at the end of the game.
