In the latest Nintendo Switch news, GameStop CEO Paul Raines’ comments revealed that fans can expect more than just handheld/console hybrid from the upcoming device. According to Raines, Nintendo switch is a very interesting device.
Raines’ comments suggest that the company will treat fans with a new secret feature when the Nintendo Switch launches. And that secret feature will be Nintendo Switch motion controls.
Nintendo Switch News: Motion Controls Feature To Make Gaming More Fun
According to Raines the Nintendo Switch motion controls feature will enable the kids to have more fun. They can simply take off the detachable Joy-Con pads.
“The Switch is a very interesting device,” Raines said. “A movement-related game is definitely a lot more fun for kids, you know, taking those accessories off – [the removable/detachable Joy-Con pads] – you can really do a lot of interesting and fun things with that during gameplay.”
He added, “I think it has tremendous potential as a game-changer. We’ll have to wait and see. Like everything else in this industry, the consumers will vote with their dollars.”
Nintendo Switch news suggests that the company will not reveal any of its hardware specifics that the console’s reveal trailer have not already mentioned, the iTech Post reported. However, the Nintendo Switch motion controller is a likely feature on the upcoming console. The feature already appears in Nintendo’s last two home consoles.
Nintendo Switch News: The Game-Changer
According to Raines, the upcoming Nintendo Switch device could be a game-changer as the demo allowed him the best gaming experience ever.
“The Nintendo Switch, which I played at Nintendo a few weeks ago – we believe could be another game-changer that will expand the audience for gaming,” he said.
According to Nintendo Switch news, Bethesda’s Todd Howard echoed Raines’ views.
“I think it’s really smart what they’re doing,” Howard said, the Express.co.uk quoted. “We’re definitely going to be supporting it. It’s the first time we’ve done something on Nintendo. If you don’t count the old NES stuff.”
There has been no official announcement about a Nintendo Switch motion controller. However, the company said that it would announce Nintendo Switch price, games list and release date during a special event in Tokyo on January 13.
