Nike Kobe 11 Might Have Release Date, May Be Last Installment Of Kobe Variant
Nike is doing fine with Kobe X. However, speculation regarding Nike’s Kobe 11 has already surfaced. Many are looking forward to the new generation of the shoe.
The Kobe X was introduced in February last season and Nike Kobe 10 Elite Low “Dark Atomic Teal” is going to be released next month. As per speculations, Kobe 11 will be out in the market in the beginning of 2016. To be precise, the date is Jan 9, 2016.
According to a tweet from Dino Hatfield, the date is January 9. Dino has also added that this one is a colorway with University Red base with a Lakers colorway.
It is also speculated that Kobe 11 will be the last Kobe variant of shoes that Bryant will wear. So, it is worth looking forward to. But no details about the shoe or its design are revealed by the company yet.
The Kobe 10 variant will be in stores on Aug 12, 2015. The shoe will be available in select basketball retailer stores. The price of the pair of shoes is fixed at $200; the Dark Atomic Teal/Total Orange-Mineral Teal-Black 747212-303 will probably make an impression.
Nike is known for paying top athletes in many sports; this is not going to end anytime soon. It is the major sponsor of several sports events. The company is synonymous with successful sportsmen and athletes for years. The legacy of Nike is unachievable for many of its counterparts.
Recently, Nike was in the news for not topping the roster of sponsored athletes. According to Quartz, the list is currently topped by Armour.
When compared to Armour, the sale of Nike is bigger, but Armour has progressed a lot during the last year. The basketball section in the Armour website was up by 300% in the last quarter.
If Nike can do away with competition, Kobe 10 and Kobe 11 will surely be a lookout for basketball fans.
