Nike Hyperdunk 2016 ‘USA’ & ‘Oreo’ Edition Release Dates, Price, Where To Buy

This year’s iteration of the Nike Hyperdunk will come in a Flyknit version. Two colorways of the said sneaker will be releasing this week.

The Nike Hyperdunk 2016 Flyknit “USA” sports a white Flyknit upper and a white compression collar. The Nike Hyperdunk 2016 Flyknit “Oreo” features the same upper and collar, but colored in white, grey and black. The USA colorway has a bright crimson swoosh, while the Oreo colorway has a black swoosh.

In terms of their similarities, the Nike Hyperdunk 2016 Flyknit “USA” and “Oreo” colorways will include a blue translucent outsole and a white plastic heel cup. Both will also have full-length Nike Zoom Air on the midsole.

Nike indicated that the shoe’s cushion setup ensures responsive cushioning and a spring-like bounce. The compression collar is there for extra ankle support and flexibility.

The combination of the Flyknit upper and Flywire lacing technology provide a sock-like fit. The shoe offers dynamic support to the wearer, regardless of their position or style of play.

Traction on the Nike Hyperdunk 2016 Flyknit is adequate at best. It gets the job done on both indoor and outdoor courts. However, squeak freaks will be disappointed to know that the shoe is a silent worker and not a blabbermouth on the court.

“You know that real squeaky sound we’ve all associated with great traction? You’ll not gonna get that on the Hyperdunk 2016. But what you are gonna get is a consistent and reliable experience,” said shoe reviewer Jahronmon. The multi-directional blade pattern will keep you covered in every direction. The traction that wraps up unto midsole is great for those V-cuts and quick changes in directions.”

Sneaker News reported that the Nike Hyperdunk 2016 Flyknit “USA” and “Oreo” colorways exclusively released at NikeLab stores on June 27, 2016. The sneakers will be available to the wider public on Monday, July 18 at official Nike retailers in the US. Standard retail price is $200. Also releasing this week are the Team USA versions of the Kobe 11 Elite and LeBron Zoom Soldier 10.
