What's This?

HP’s new Chromebooks are better than the older versions yet are cheap. The sad part is that the company may cut down on the range of colors and only a few options will be made available to you. With bad news comes the good news. The latest HP Chromebooks will allow you to upgrade its display to a full HD screen only for $30.

Unlike older versions, HP Chromebook 14 will be powered by Intel’s 2.16Ghz dual-core Celeron N2840. Other specifications remain the same.

Color: Turbo Silver and Sky Blue
Weight: 3.74 pounds
Display: 14-inch 1366-by-768 IPS display
microSD slot: Yes
Storage: 2GB of RAM and 16GB of eMMC storage
USB Ports: 1 USB 3.0 port, 2 USB 2.0 ports
Battery: Will last up to 9 hours and 15 minutes

And the best part is…

Just like last year’s Chromebooks, HP Chromebook14 will come with 12 free Gogo in-air internet passes and 100GB Google Drive cloud storage for 2 years. In addition to this, buyers will also get three Google Play movie rentals and 90 days of Google Play music absolutely free.

Notebooks from HP

HP has also announced Chromebook 14 G4 for small to medium businesses. This notebook supports VPN connectivity, Citrix Receiver 1.8 for Chrome, and enhanced virtualization. Being a notebook designed for small businesses, the storage option of this laptop is also pretty good. It offers buyers up to 32GB of eMMC storage.

HP Chromebook 14 G4 starts at $279. It is set to hit stores on November 8; Chromebook 14 G4 will be made available to institutional buyers in October.
