What's This?

Game of Thrones season 6 is imminent, and everyone is getting ready to return to Westeros and know the fate of their favorite characters. With so many cliffhangers from season 5, there are many questions that need to be answered; one of them is, what happened to Sansa and Theon? Oh sorry, no. Not Theon. Reek!

Inverse reported that Michael McElhatton, Iwan Rheon, and Alfie Allen (Roose Bolton, Ramsay Bolton and Theon Greyjoy, respectively) appeared on Jimmy Kimmel to present another clip from the show’s sixth season.

On the clip, Theon and Sansa are running away from Ramsay’s hounds after they fled Winterfell. Theon is helping Sansa cross the frigid waters, telling her he has seen what Ramsay’s hounds do to a person. Reluctantly, Sansa steps into the river, and they slowly wade across.

According to Vanity Fair, the clip itself does not answer questions from Game of Thrones season 5, although it does reveal that Sansa and Theon did survive jumping off the wall of Winterfell after killing Myranda. The clip ended as the three applauded the big reveal, with Allen asking Rheon if he can applaud himself, as if asking Ramsay for permission to be punished.

Jimmy Kimmel brought it upon himself to remind viewers that it is just acting and remove the stigma of Allen’s character, who suffered miserably under Ramsay Bolton, played by Rheon. The two shared a friendly hug, after which, Allen proceeded to hug McElhatton. Rheon also hugged McElhatton, calling him daddy, after which Allen hugged the two.

To add to the comedic effect, emotional music played in the background.

It is amazing to see how these actors brought their characters to life in Game of Thrones. Their characters earned the admiration, pity, love, and, unfortunately, the hate of fans through great acting.
