What's This?

Netflix is providing a treat to the viewers, off late. The network is reviving some of the old shows on television which are still new in their appeal. One of these shows is “Gilmore Girls” which is going to be back with 4, 90 minutes episodes on the network, quite soon.

It was previously revealed that “Gilmore Girls” will be revived but the other details were not given out. This time, we know more about this thanks to the network’s revelation. The reboot of four episodes will represent a different season each, over one year. So there would be Spring, Summer, Winter and Autumn episodes of the show.

Creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Daniel Palladino will be writing and directing the show. The story will be in the present day with an essence of the past. As far as the casting is concerned, Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel will probably be returning to the show. They are the original mother-daughter pair of the show.

Fans are really quite excited about the return of the hit TV series “Gilmore Girls”. They have flooded the social media with their responses and it must be exciting for the show runners. Kevin Porter and Demi Adejyigbe, the podcast personalities are overwhelmed by the response.

Porter mentioned, “It would have been like having the emotional nuclear football of the “Gilmore Girls” universe.” However, the new installment will not have many popular actors. Edward Herrmann who used to play Richard Gilmore, passed away last December and Melissa McCarthy is in a career break. However, the intoxicating appeal of the show is not going to end soon.
