What's This?

“NCIS New Orleans” season 3 is airing without Agent Meredith Brody. Rumors have it that Zoe McLellan, who plays the role, will no longer come back for the show. But what could be the reason behind this?

According to a report, the “NCIS New Orleans” season 3 did not include Zoe McLellan’ character Agent Meredith Brody, after last season’s finale showed how the agent decided to leave the New Orleans team.

It can be recalled that Zoe McLellan’s boyfriend Agent John Russo, played by Ivan Sergei, was discovered to be a mole. He was trying to commit a terrorist attack in the city of New Orleans.

Brody first went suspicious when she saw Russo using another cellphone just when the explosion occurred, The Celebrity Cafe said. She then decided to covertly gather more information about Russo after she decided to continue his relationship with him for the investigation’s sake.

Though the Pride’s team had managed to halt the attack on the city, fans were left hanging what will Agent Brody do after she had gathered the proof that Russo is indeed an enemy. In the end, Brody managed to take her ex lover down.

Now, in the “NCIS New Orleans” premiere for season 3, Agent Brody decided to leave the team after doubts were casted upon her as she is in a relationship with the traitor. Fans are now waiting to see if Agent Brody will ever decide to return.

In “NCIS New Orleans” season 3, fans may not see Agent Brody’s comeback though. As of the moment, there is also yet to be any confirmation that the agent will make an appearance during the series’ fourth season.

TV Line said that Agent Meredith Brody’s exit in “NCIS New Orleans” is a creative decision.

“Seeing as her character had been compromised in the Season 2 finale, due to her association with a Homeland Security agent who turned out to be a misguided zealot,” the report said.

However, there have been a number speculations as to why Zoe McLellan’s character was let go from the cast of “NCIS New Orleans.”

According to Australia News Network, reports have surfaced that the actress may have asked for a salary increase, which the management turned down. There is also another speculation that what McLellan actually wanted was to be able to spend more time with her son. She also reportedly wanted to start dating again.

“NCIS New Orleans” season 3, meanwhile, introduced a new character as FBI special agent Tammy Gregorio. She is being played by “CSI: New York” alum Vanessa Ferlito.

Vanessa Ferlito was terrible on CSI and I cannot stand her on this show either. Terrible casting choice. I am not liking this show right now at all.
