Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose is not in his best of form this season. He may sign for the New York Knicks before the trade deadline.
The Chicago Bulls management is also eyeing to trade off Rose to the New York Knicks. Rose has been plagued by injuries, too. Earlier this season, rumors were ripe that Rose’s time in Chicago is coming to an end. And Rose hasn’t shown a different attitude yet.
Rose becomes a free agent in 2017, but he doesn’t want to wait for a change till then.
“But when you talk about that much money the only thing you can do is prepare for it. I’m trying to prepare, not only myself, but my family. And I’m doing this all for my son. Like I said, I’m thinking about his future. Even though we’re alright, we’re comfortable, when you talk about that x-amount of dollars, I think it raises everyone’s eyebrows, so there’s nothing wrong with being over-prepared,” he said.
The Bulls are currently second in the Eastern Conference with a 22-12 record. The Bulls’ eye a decent return by trading off Rose. Rose recently had an MRI on his bruised knee, and the report came back clean unlike the previous occasions, as reported by the Morning News USA. Bulls’ fans have been patient with Rose, but the management may trigger a trade soon.
The New York Knicks is the most probable destination for Rose.
