The Cleveland Cavaliers have trade interest in Tyreke Evans, Omer Asik and Kyle Korver before the deadline. The Atlanta Hawks could sell their core to rejuvenate their side.
The Cavs also discussed a Timofey Mozgov trade with Sacramento Kings. But the Kings have rejected the offer from the Cavs regarding Mozgov, according to Real GM. The Cavs have multiple trade player exceptions available for them. In exchange, the Cavs are eyeing a sharp-shooter, a guard and a big bench man, which isn’t surprising.
ESPN’s Brian Windhorst pointed out that the Cavs have special interest in Korver and Asik. Ray Allen didn’t come out of his retirement, making Korver an automatic choice, according to Fansided.
Evans is an unexpected name. His style of game clashes with the Cavs’ offensive flow. With LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love in the roster, he becomes the fourth option on the floor.
Windhorst: I have heard the #Cavs have had interest in Kyle Korver as well. Hawks could be selling off pieces.
