Very soon it could be the end of the road for Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah at Chicago Bulls. As the trade deadline is approaching, the Bulls management is looking to land Carmelo Anthony and Jose Calderon to boost their roster, according to sources.
Rose and Noah, the previous faces of the franchise failed to give any title to the team and the Bulls think-tank is looking forward to bring in big names who will make significant impact in the line-up. The new line-up would feature Butler, Gasol, Anthony and Jose Calderon, according to sources. Calderon could be the starting shooting-guard, he is also the teammate of Pau Gasol in the Spanish National team.
Anthony and Calderon are playing for Knicks. Some insiders of the opinion, that the Knicks have keen interest on Rose. Noah is having a awful season in Bulls, but salvaged some pride in the Bulls’ thrilling win against Spurs in the last game.
“The Chicago Bulls should trade Derrick Rose And Joakim Noah this season. And, if presented with the right deal and opportunity, I really think that they would pull the trigger,” Sir Charles In Charge said.
Melo is now nearing his retirement and still in hunt for his first NBA title. The trade would help his title-aspirations. Exit of Rose and Noah won’t hamper the Bulls’ progress, if Melo is around.
