Los Angeles Clippers are 12-3 without Blake Griffin. With recent NBA trade rumors hinting at a possible Griffin trade, is it time for Clippers to pull the trigger?

With Griffin, they are 18-13. Clearly, Doc Rivers’ team plays a lot better in the absence of their superstar Power Forward.

Here, we shortlist three possible trades for Griffin:

For Chris Bosh and Justise Winslow (Package including Austin Rivers)

ESPN Trade Machine: Approves
Why Clippers Benefit: They get a championship-pedigree stalwart in Bosh, who is a two-time champion and has dealt with the intense pressure of the postseason. Winslow is a future All-Star and will immediately solve the Clippers’ problems at the 3 spot.
Why Heat Benefit: Griffin is only 25. He is yet to hit his peak. Paired with Hassan Whiteside in the front court, Griffin can focus on his offensive game and not worry much about rim protection. Also, he will benefit from playing with pick-and-roll heavy backcourt of Goran Dragic and Dwyane Wade.

For Paul George
ESPN Trade Machine:
Why Clippers Benefit: Los Angeles get perimeter defense and dynamic scoring ability. Also, they secure a superstar at the wing for many years to come. PG-13 has a huge fanbase and would thrive in the bright lights of Los Angeles. Also, he will fit hand-and-glove under Chris Paul’s leadership.
Why Pacers Benefit: Having struck gold at the 2015 Draft with Myles Turner, the Pacers’ future would get brighter with the addition of Griffin. A front court pairing of Turner and Griffin would be exciting, to say the least. Also, Griffin would be able to learn under the tutelage of Larry Bird.

For LaMarcus Aldridge
ESPN Trade Machine: Approves
Why Clippers Benefit: Aldridge resides in L.A. and would get to come back home. Also, as a low-maintenance veteran, he would thrive playing with Doc Rivers and Chris Paul. Aldridge hasn’t been able to shine under Gregg Popovich since he doesn’t get the ball as much as he did in Portland.
Why San Antonio Benefit: The Spurs organization, especially coach Popovich, have a newfound respect for Griffin after that grueling seven-game series in the last playoffs. It would take Griffin some time to adjust to Spurs’ unselfish playbook. But Griffin’s respect for Pop should help his case.
