The Milwaukee Bucks traded Brandon Knight to bring in Michael Carter-Williams. The Bucks are on their way to another major trade, considering a move to trade off Carter-Williams and Greg Monroe before this year’s deadline.
In an attempt to fix issues ahead of the next season, which sees them revive from the current situation of 18 games under .500 since trading off Brandon Knight, the Bucks are willing to trade point guard Carter-Williams and Monroe, according to Real GM. Both didn’t click with the team.
Monroe was alive and kicking in offense but failed miserably in defense, which made the Bucks a vulnerable side this season.
“From what I’m hearing is they (the Bucks) are willing to trade anybody not named Parker, Antetokounmpo or Middleton,’’ an NBA executive explained. “I even heard they’d listen to offers for Parker and Middleton, but it would have to be some crazy offer.
“They want to do something; they know they have to do something. That group they have isn’t working.’’
The Bucks made the playoffs last season with a young core but are now in the bottom half of the Eastern Conference. The Bucks have a set of young talents and can draft another quality pick this season, reports Fansided.
