The Chicago Bulls are desperately looking for a quality wing in the trade market. The Bulls management has decided to trade veteran Joakim Noah or Taj Gibson to acquire a wing.
The Bulls have missed the services of Mike Dunleavy Jr throughout the season. Jimmy Butler has struggled to find rhythm under head coach Fred Hoiberg, leaving the Bulls desperate to hunt for a quality wing.
“Executives around the league, and people have told me, that the Bulls are very determined to add a talented wing player,” revealed Adrian Wojnarowski during his podcast on Wednesday. “And I’ve been told that the Bulls are open to…whether it’s Joakim Noah, Taj Gibson…maybe not both of them, but either of them if there’s a deal out there that they can bring in the best possible wing player available, they’re open to it… They need more shooting.”
The Bulls want more shooting from the wings to shape the team to a more offensive bunch. No wing has been named so far as a prime target. Chicago won’t trade both Noah or Gibson, but are keeping both open for a favorable trade.
Noah’s injury makes things uncertain as of now, but Gibson remains on the cards to be traded to add more depth in the wings.
