NBA News: Miami Heat’s Chris Bosh Deals With Blood Clot Possibility
The Miami Heat feels threatened with Chris Bosh’s blood clot scare. Bosh will undergo few more tests to evaluate his condition before his playing status is updated. Bosh suffered a clot a year ago, which ended his season early.Advertisement
Bosh will spend the next few days going through reviewing sessions. Earlier, Bosh pulled out of the All-Star game due to an injury described as “calf problem,” as reported by Real GM.
Bosh went into partnership with Janssen Pharmaceuticals to prevent the recurrence of clotting last season. He missed Sunday’s All-Star game and returned to Miami for additional tests. The initial belief was that he was having a clot in his trained calf and required blood thinner medication for relief, according to the Miami Herald.
The Vertical reports that Chris Bosh will be meeting physicians to cure the clot on his left calf. Asked whether Bosh has been diagnosed with another clot, his agent Henry Thomas replied in a text saying it is “Too soon for all of that. … Too soon to report that.”
