In one of the scenes, Juliette, portrayed by Hayden Panettiere, was disembarking from a vehicle when a cameraman approached her and asked about the tragic death of Fordham (Oliver Hudson), shared Us Weekly.
“Juliette, were you with your manager when he fell to his death? It’s all over our website,” the cameraman asked while his camera was rolling to tape the rising star’s reaction during the “Nashville” series finale. “We received an anonymous tip! Is it true? Were you on that roof?”
Juliette then responded, “How did you … ?”
It can be recalled that her manager faced his death when he was trying to save the star, who was drunk and depressed then, from falling from the roof.
In the meantime, while there have already been reports that the American musical drama TV series has already been cancelled by ABC on May 12 after four seasons, TV Line theorized that there is still hope that “Nashville” series would continue to run for season 5.
Accoridng to the entertainment site, Lionsgate TV’s tweet on Thursday suggested of such possibility. Yes, that “Nashville” season 5 might just be on its way should fans extend some helping hands by making the hashtag #BringBackNashville a trending topic on social media.
“#Nashies What a cliffhanger! But we won’t leave you hanging. There’s more story to be told. #BringBackNashville,” the tweet read.
Meanwhile, TV Line disclosed that representatives of ABC and Lionsgate have “declined to comment.” However, a source reportedly close to the latter declared that the studio “is fully confident that there’s much more ‘Nashville’ to be told.”
“Tonight’s Season 4 finale ending speaks to that confidence,” the insider added. “Not to frustrate or disappoint fans, rather Lionsgate, ABC Studios and Opry Entertainment are listening to fans’ outpouring of support online for more.”
Do you think there is still hope for the “Nashville” series to see the light of day and continue telling its story in season 5?
