“Naruto Shippuden” Episode 466 is set to air on June 30 and will continue the filler episodes concerning Hagaromo Otustsuki’s sons. Episode 465 showed how Indra invented the signs and awakened his Sharingan which led him down a dark path that would result in him fighting his brother Asura.
Being a filler, this episode is not a part of the manga’s original storyline. After he awakened his Kekkei Genkai with the help of Black Zetsu, Indra’s nature gradually changed from an approachable genius to a power hungry loner.
In ‘Naruto Shippuden‘ Episode 466, Hagaromo Otsutsuki will choose the successor of Ninshu between his sons. Many believe his eldest is the rightful successor due to his talent but his brother has overcome his weakness through hard work and relying on others.
Expecting to be Hagaromo’s successor, he is devastated when his younger brother Asura was chosen instead. Unknown to him, it was his brother who manifested to traits his father wanted.
Despite his obvious discontent, Indra grudgingly accepted his father’s decision. Black Zetsu, knowing his personality, chides him into fighting Asura and taking his place as he believed he is the rightful successor of Ninshu.
His brother, although unwilling to fight him, was forced to do so. During this struggle Indra invented ninjutsu, the weaponized version of nunshu.
The Uchiha and the Senju
This feud would go on for centuries as their descendant’s. The Uchiha and the Senju battle with each other without knowing the origins of their hatred for the other.
Episode 466 will possibly reveal the origin of the Uchiha and the Senju through their ancestors. The Uchiha, receiving the Sharingan and Indra’s Curse of Hatred and the Senju, receiving Asura’s power and longevity.
They will also inherit Asura’s Will of Fire that will continue to influence Konohagakure for centuries.
It will also reveal the origins of the eternal struggle between Indra and Asura’s reincarnations namely Madara and Hashiram and presently Sasuke and Naruto. With the latter two finally ending the centuries old feud, with Sasuke finally accepting Naruto’s ideals after his defeat.
