‘Narcos’ season 2 Release Date Confirmed: Pablo Escobar Dies?

“Narcos” season 2 release date has been finally confirmed and the newest spoilers claimed that its lead character, Pablo Escobar, is going to die in one of the upcoming episodes.


According to ComingSoon.net, the hit Netflix crime thriller series will premiere on Sept. 1 at 12.01 A.M. PST with Wagner Moura reprising his role as the Colombian drug kingpin.

He will still be joined by Boyd Holbrook, who portrays the role of real-life DEA agent Steve Murphy, and Pedro Pascal, another DEA agent named Javier Peña.

Gaumont International Television will continue to produce “Narcos” season 2 for Netflix, with José Padilha and Eric Newman as the executive producers.

To those who would like to know the life of Escobar and what happened to him in the past, Netflix members can follow him via live streaming since “Narcos” season 1 is still available.

As described by the report, the show “chronicles the gripping real-life stories of the infamous drug kingpins of the late 1980s and the corroborative efforts of law enforcement to meet them head on in brutal, bloody conflict.”

Amid the announcement of “Narcos” season 2 release date on Monday, fans rocked the Twitter world with excitement.

“Narcos is back on September 2,” Netflix US tweeted. “If you don’t want spoilers, be sure to avoid Wikipedia until then.”

The revelation even had one fan asking this, “can you like somehow not kill Pablo, if you kill him can u like revive him like in dragonballs, please?” to which Netflix US replied, “Resurrecting Pablo would be above Shenron’s power grade…”

Daily Mail UK reported that certain hints that would point to it were apparent in the newly-released teaser of the second season.

“The 28-second bare-bones clip, while simple, does manage to give quite the clue for what’s to come, as it features one memorable date – 12.02.93 – the date Pablo was killed by Colombian law enforcement,” the entertainment site pointed out in its “Narcos” season 2 spoilers.
