‘My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2’ Releases Trailer, Same Old Cast Retain Roles

The Portokalos family is back on screens as “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2” released its freshest trailer. The trailer shows the original cast from the first installment retain their roles as their respective characters. When’s the showing of the movie?

As reported by Some Cards, after 13 years off the screen, the Protokalos family is finally back to entertain movie buffs with another intriguing and unusual family movie.

Main characters Nia Vardalos and John Corbett are back in the big screen as Toula and Ian Miller, the same actors in the first movie of the franchise.

The movie will showcase the struggle of the Millers in helping their daughter Paris (Elena Kampouris) appreciate the family’s background. Paris despises being Greek, much like how her mother was during the first movie.

Paris feels pressure from family members to uphold her Greek roots, especially when she is constantly around them. In fact, her grandfather, Gus Portokalos (Michael Constantine) told Paris, “Keep your eyeballs open for a nice Greek so one day you can make babies.”

The upcoming “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2” movie is directed by Kirk Jones of “Nanny McPhee,” produced by Tom Hanks, Gary Goetzman and Rita Wilson, as reported by Variety. The executive producers of the second installment were Vardalos, Steven Shareshian, Paul Brooks, and Scott Niemeyer.

Watch out for the showing of “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2” this March 25, 2015.
