What's This?

Mr. Robot, the popular thriller on TV, had to postpone its finale episode on USA Network. As per reports, the network delayed the episode owing to the fact that it shows a shooting similar to the one in Virginia, which caused the deaths of two journalists.

In a statement issued by the network, it was said, “The previously filmed season finale of Mr. Robot contains a graphic scene similar in nature to today’s tragic events in Virginia. Out of respect to the victims, their families and colleagues, and our viewers, we are postponing tonight’s episode. Our thoughts go out to all those affected during this difficult time.”

The shooting in Virginia took away the lives of Alison Parker and Adam Ward. The duo was gunned down on live TV. The suspect, Vester Lee Flanagan II, also died due to a self-inflicted gunshot when police pursued him. He was also employed by Roanoke station, WDBJ7, the same station where the victims worked.

While the telecast delay of the “Mr. Robot” finale may disappoint some, it was essential as per the network. The episode will be shown on September 2 instead of August 26, as confirmed. It’s seven more days until you can catch the finale episode of the popular show. “Mr. Robot” is also renewed for a second season, so more action is awaited after the completion of the first.
