Motorola has introduced a phone with a solid display and a shatterproof screen. That device is “Motorola Droid Turbo 2.” Read on to know more about this phone.

To support its “shatterproof screen” claims, Motorola is offering a 4-year warranty. To see if the phone stands the test of time, ChipChick dropped it on a wooden floor, and here is what the site has to say about Moto Droid Turbo 2’s display: “We dropped it dozens of times on a wood floor and it came out scratch free and scuff free. These weren’t typical drops, they were toss ups at about 5 feet. The Turbo 2 came out impressively flawless!

In the Motorola Droid Turbo 2 Review, they added,

“It wasn’t until we tested on rough concrete that Turbo 2 started to feel the pain. With a harder rougher surface, we ended up with some scuffed edges, but still an intact screen. Not even a scratch on the face. The scuffed edges smoothed out on their own over time, but they’re still noticeable.”

Isn’t that impressive? At least this review makes us believe that, yes, Motorola has successfully developed a shatterproof screen. Motorola Droid Turbo 2 isn’t exactly waterproof, but, yes, it is water-repellent. So if you accidentally take your phone near water, there is no need to panic. Your phone will take care of itself. But do not dive with it for underwater photography. Remember: it is not waterproof.

With a powerful 3760 mAh battery, Droid Turbo 2 does an excellent job. Charge it for 15 minutes and you have a phone that works for 13 hours straight. It dons a 21-megapixel camera but doesn’t offer many settings like other devices do. In short, it’s a great phone to have.

We will be back with more updates on this. Keep checking!
