The upcoming episode of “Modern Family” titled “A Stereotypical Day” will feature a transgender child actor Jackson Millarker, who will appear as Cameron and Mitchell’s daughter Lily’s friend. Jackson, 8, will be playing Tom in the September 28 episode of the Modern Family.
Director of the episode Ryan Case posted an image of Jackson and said, “This is Jackson Millarker,” Case announced.
He added, “He’s 8 years old, from Atlanta, and just happens to be transgender. He plays Lily’s friend Tom in this week’s ‘Modern Family’ and he’s wonderful. One of the many reasons I love being a part of this show.”
In the episode, Lily asks her parents if she can invite her transgender friend Tom home for a play date. Cameron and Mitchell will be proud thinking they have raised an accepting and open-minded child. However, their joy will be short-lived as Lily insults Tom, which will serve as a learning moment, the Page Six reported.

Jackson’s grandparents being among the donators. A recent update on the page said that the family needs more fund as “Uber and Lyft are really expensive.”
