Mobile World Congress 2016: LG Confirms Launch Of Flagship Phone, Sends Out Invites For Event
CES 2016 has just gone, and now, Mobile World Congress 2016 is just around the corner. The event is set to take off in February. And brands have also started sending out invitations to reporters. LG has also sent out a hint of what to expect at this much-awaited gathering of the mobile industry.Advertisement
The Mobile World Congress 2016 will take place in Barcelona, Spain. We can expect big announcements from reputed brands at the exhibition. For example, rumors suggest that Samsung’s next flagship phones, Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge and S7 Edge+, will also be unveiled.
CNET has in its report mentioned that “LG has confirmed to CNET that the event will see the launch of the company’s next flagship handset.” Giving us a glimpse of the invitation, the publication further wrote that the “invitation itself features the children’s jack-in-the-box toy with the words “play begins” overlaid on top. That in itself is pretty vague, but the ‘playful’ imagery could imply a device with premium enough hardware for impressive gameplay and graphics.”
So is gaming next for LG? Probably! Gaming is the new trend, and no brand is going to give up the opportunity to catch up.
LG will unveil its device on February 21 at the Mobile World Congress 2016. The company may launch LG G5 this year. This smartphone will sport a 5.3-inch QHD display and a dual-rear camera. This phone will have dual display. One small screen on the main one will be used for notifications, alerts, etc.
