What's This?

Miss Universe 2015 has created a lot of drama on and off the stage. One of the dramas involved Miss Germany who may not have been able to move to the top but was able to grab a lot of attention. She has said sorry for commenting on Miss Phillipines, who is now the winner.

A statement from Miss Germany said, “She [Ms Reik] never intended to offend Miss Philippines in any way… She is really sorry if the video suggests anything else than that. It’s an emotional roller coaster… She and all the other girls felt so sorry for Colombia at that moment… That’s not the final result moment what you wish for anyone. And also for Pia.”

Miss Germany, Sarah-Lorraine Riek, had said that Miss Columbia should have won the crown. Miss Universe 2015 was the most controversial contest this year with so much happening on and offstage.

Miss Germany said in a past interview, “I really couldn’t believe it, I was so upset… I was very happy for Colombia actually she really deserved it and I’m really not happy with the result and neither are the other girls.”

Miss Germany was also quoted saying, “None of us [the other contestants] voted for the Philippines… I’m really not happy with the result.”

So, has that drama come to an end with Miss Germany apologizing? We hope no more drama happens with the popular event. If anything new crops up, we are here to update you.
