What's This?

The Minecraft PC game is the fad nowadays. The PC/Mac version of the game has already sold 22 million copies. This has been possible thanks to the holiday weekend. To be more precise, in one day, more than 14,500 copies of the game were sold!

Minecraft is giving out amazing offers to Android customers with discounted rates for Story Mode and skins. However, the PC remains its first platform, and the popularity of the Minecraft PC game is still high. The PlayStation and Xbox versions of the game have also done well.

In June 2014, sales of PlayStation and Xbox versions were higher compared to that of PC. Microsoft eventually purchased Minecraft in September 2014. Since then, the sales of the game for all versions are boosting the profit levels of Microsoft.

Microsoft recently announced that Minecraft is the highest grossing paid game in the Windows 10 store. The game was launched July 2015 and since then, it has retained the number one spot in the gaming arena of Microsoft.

Not only has sales increased, more than 1 million existing players used the offer to get the free Windows 10 version of the game. Minecraft has shown steady progress as far as updates are concerned. The game is still getting updated from time to time.

The Minecraft PC game is one of those games which grossed 10,000 sales per day in the holiday season. Story Mode already has many episodes. Many more are up for grabs.
