It has been theorized that the upcoming device will have a 4K display for a much improved screen resolution that can play high-definition videos, the Country Caller revealed.

Operating System

To make the consumers’ experience even more fun and comfortable, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 would reportedly boast of Windows 10 Redstone 2.

It is anticipated that the successor of Microsoft Surface Pro 4 would run on Intel’s next-gen Kaby Lake processor, which means that the battery performance of the upcoming device would be much better already.

In a separate report, the Country Caller pointed out that the Kaby Lake processor is a “crucial gamechanger” considering that “Microsoft as the software giant is essentially not expected to support any other OS but Windows 10 for the CPU architecture.”

Accordingly, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 would not be available until 2017 since the seventh-gen Kaby Lake from Intel would only be around by end of this year.
