Microsoft ‘Surface Book’ Is Not Just A Laptop, It’s A Tablet, Too
From Microsoft

Where companies are busy delivering one or two new features/specifications with every new device which are not completely new, to be very honest, Microsoft has given us devices that are surprisingly new and unique. It looks like the company has started a revolution with its “Windows 10 devices” that were shown the light at the October 6 event.

Surface Book is the first laptop designed by Microsoft, yet the company has introduced new techniques and technologies that make this laptop stand out from the rest.

Surface Book is a 13.5-inch laptop that comes with a trendy stylus, Surface Pen and a detachable keyboard. As this Windows 10 device is also a tablet, it comes with two cameras – an 8 megapixel primary camera and a 5 MP selfie camera. With a powerful battery that lasts up to 12 hours even with video playback, this tablet comes with 10-point multi-touch. Surface Book, a laptop-cum-tablet is also compatible with Surface Pen which allows users to put down their creativity onscreen just like they put it on paper.

Write, draw or make musical notes, Surface Book wants you to be your creative best. To put it into Microsoft’s words, Surface Book is the ultimate laptop from Microsoft that “brings together best in class performance with the versatility of pen and touch.”

This Windows 10 device has just been launched, so it is too early to comment on whether it can beat other leading brands in the market. Still, we can confidently say that it has the potential to grab the market share of each and every manufacturing giant ruling the market out there. And as Microsoft wants us to believe, Surface Book is the future of laptop computing. To know how well laptop users accept this in the present time is something we will have to wait for.

Surface Book starts at $1,499 and is available for pre-order on Microsoft’s online store.
