Microsoft’s October 6 event is going to be all about Windows 10. That is what company invites say. Are you ready to explore Windows 10 on different devices?

The success of Windows 10 has inspired Microsoft to manufacture devices that run on this latest operating system. The October 9 event is also expected to witness nothing else than a range of new devices that would come pre-installed with Windows 10, making it easier for people to switch to this new operating system.


The Verge has reported that the tech giant is sending out invites for its October 6 event which reads, “We have some exciting news to share about Windows 10 devices.” Now that clearly means that the event will be dedicated to Windows 10. Even though the invites have been sent, no specific details have been given out, keeping the secrecy level high.

What to expect from Microsoft at October 6 event?

The event at the Skylight at Moynihan Station in New York City may witness new Lumia smartphones – Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, to be specific. Few people in the industry also believe that more Lumia phones may be released at the event.

Surface Pro 4, an improved Surface Pro 3 tablet, is also said to be launching at the event. The next-gen version of the Microsoft Band, Band 2, is another gadget that is looked forward to.
