Microsoft Lumia 650 Is Soon Coming To The US

Since its official launch last month, Microsoft has been marketing the enterprise-centric Lumia 650 handset to push sales. Earlier reports indicate that the handset will be selling in the U.S by AT&T’s pre-paid subsidiary unit, Cricket. Very soon, there will be more revelations which other carriers will be offering the entry-level business phone.
Microsoft claims that the Lumia 650 will be one of the most inexpensive smartphones to run Windows 10 Mobile. The confirmation of the US launch of the Lumia 650 was recently announced on Twitter with @LumiaUS saying that the company will declare release details of the device sometime this week, reports IBTimes.
The Lumia 650 has an aluminum-based metal frame design, and comes with a 5-inch display screen. Its super HD AMOLED display offers 1,280×720 pixel resolutions at 297ppi pixel density. The handset weighs a mere 122 grams and measures 142.0×70.9×6.9 mm in dimensions.
The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor set at 1.3GHz and an Adreno 304 GPU. The phone boasts 16GB of internal space expandable up to 200GB via microSD card. The back camera has 8MP sensor characterized by LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 28mm lens, while the front-facing camera has 5MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The phone has 1GB of RAM and 2,000mAH battery.
Compared to budget device, Lumia 550, the Lumia 650 is better than its predecessor. While the Lumia 550 is priced at $139, the Lumia 650 costs $199. Camera features include 8MP primary camera and 5MP front camera on Lumia 650, and 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera on Lumia 550. Also, the display size of the Lumia 650 is 5-inches, and the display size of Lumia 550 is 4.7-inches, reports Neowin.
