Jim Harbaugh is set to make his debut as coach of the Michigan Wolverines football team against Utah on Thursday night. The entire college world is looking forward to it. Harbaugh will be in the sidelines in his classic khakis. And the entire team followed him, making a new fashion statement.


Angelique Chengelis, Detroit News Michigan reporter, captured a still frame of the players leaving their hotels for Rice-Eccles Stadium, all wearing khaki trousers.

Every player sporting khakis, following their coach, is a rare spectacle. The Wolverines kickoff their season against Utah tonight at 8:30 p.m. ET. The Utes defeated Michigan 26-10 in the big house last season and are favored by five.
