The latest on Michael Schumacher’s condition continues to be limited with media blackout still enforced. There is still no significant breakthrough for the Formula One legend after suffering that tragic skiing accident back in December 2013.
Sabine Kehm, manager of Schumacher, has been the only source of updates. Thus far, her updates have been scarce and hardly significant as she tries to carry out the wishes of the Schumacher family.
Scarce Schumacher health update continue
Kehm recently accepted a Lifetime Achievement Award for Schumacher. Through a speech reported by Sports Mole, Kehm told the audience how it would have been better to see Schumacher receiving the award.
With consideration to Michael Schumacher’s current state , all that was not possible. Instead of proving Schumacher health update, she tells everyone that they just need to accept and learn to deal with Schumi’s situation and hope for the best.
Schumacher’s latest achievement
The latest award is another recognition on the part of Schumacher, who prides himself by winning more titles than anyone in the history of racing. To his credit, Schumacher has collected a total of 91 Grand Prix victories from 1994 and 2004.
He is the wealthiest driver ever to race at Formula 1, amassing a record £520million in earnings. Despite all that, Schumacher’s wealth may not be enough to cover his rising medical bills. Medical care costs are reportedly now up to about £10m and the costs are expected to escalate, the Daily Star reported.
Corrina, wife of Schumacher, sold Schumi’s private jet and holiday pad and many took it the negative way. It raised questions on their financial status though she would shed more light on the move later on.
According to Corrina, the asset sale was all part of being practical. Given Schumacher’s state, it is unlikely that he and/or the family would be able to enjoy and utilize the jet and pad in the future.
