Savage described the incident by saying that on Monday afternoon, he was abruptly taken off the air. He said that the shutdown took place after a discussion of the former First Lady’s health issues.
Michael Savage described the entire incident as an act of “pure sabotage.”
According to Breitbart, Savage was taken off air from New York powerhouse WABC. He said that due to the Hillary Clinton incident, he was now being replaced by Curtis Sliwa and Ron Kuby, hosts of the afternoon show “Curtis & Kuby.”
“Pure sabotage. No advance notice from me or my producers. Then ‘ISDN problems’ during my discussion of the side effects of Levodopa, used for treating Parkinson’s,” Savage wrote in an email to Breitbart.
“Then the two fill-ins trying to sound informed and clever from WABC who have 40% lower ratings than me, boasting on air during my hours that they conducted a ‘coup’ by taking Savage off the air.”
On his nationally syndicated The Savage Nation radio program, Savage was talking about Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s health. During the discussion, he suggested that she might have Parkinson’s disease.
Exactly during that moment, Savage was alerted about his show being taken off from the air on New York’s WABC radio.
According to Infowars, The Savage Nation was the second most listened-to talk show in the country. It had an audience of over 20 million listeners across the United States.
After Michael Savage discovered that he was pulled from WABC, he went on to explain to his audience what happened in New York. He explained that his live feed was abruptly cut off, so was many of his other affiliates. He also said that a replay of an older episode was substituted for the live feed.
