There is new buzz going around about this upcoming device from a Chinese phone manufacturer that is said to be following the much talked-about Vivo Xplay5 Elite in terms of having a big RAM. The phone we’re talking about, of course, is the coming flagship phone Meizu Pro 6.
According to Times of India, a leak about the upcoming smartphone from Meizu, which is expected to be named Pro 6, has been circulating the web. The leak reported by Chinese website MyDrivers said that the next Meizu device will be coming in two variants with different RAM and internal storage capacity.
One variant will be having a standard 4GB RAM and an internal storage of 64GB; the other will be the high-end variant that will be having a 6GB RAM, like that of Xplay5, and an internal storage of 128GB. The report also claims that the upcoming flagship phone will have a similar display to its predecessor. It is also expected to run Samsung’s Exynos 8890 processor.
If the report is right regarding the Meizu phone having the said specs, Gadgets 360 says that it would not be the first time the Chinese brand uses the a processor from the Korean-based company, as its Pro 5 unit ran on the Exynos 7420 octa core processor.
Additionally, the two variants might also be true as it could be noted that its predecessor, the Pro 5 phone, was also launched with two variants at 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage and the 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage.
Meanwhile, GizmoChina says that based on the report, Meizu Pro 6 will still have a limited screen resolution of 1080p. The phone might also likely have Meizu’s MBack 3.0 software and might run with the new Flyme 6.0 operating system.
It is also expected that the phone will have a “3D-like” feature and a support for fast-charging. The latest handset from the Chinese phone manufacturer might also have support for Hi-Fi 3.0 in terms of connectivity option.
Although there is no confirmation yet whether the information from the leak or report is real, consumers don’t have to wait for long as the upcoming Meizu MX6 mid-range flagship is expected to be announced by April.
