What's This?

Early rumors suggested that Matt Ryan will be brought back for the renewal of NBC series Constantine. Speculation stated that he will receive a recurring or guest role in Arrow in the upcoming season. But it looks like this wasn’t the case.

Last month, there were rumors stating a new animated feature called Justice League Dark will be released soon. Fortunately, it has officially been confirmed.

According to Screen Rant, actor Matt Ryan will be back to voice his character John Constantine. The news was confirmed through a featurette released earlier.

The video shows Matt Ryan voicing his character, as well as production team members like director Jay Oliva and Producer James Tucker. Check out the video below.

Batman has been voiced by Jason O’Mara in Justice League Dark. The Irish actor also voiced the Dark Knight in Son of Batman.

Judging by the footage from the featurette, it looks like Justice League Dark will have a closer connection to Injustice: Gods Among Us. While it has been established that fictional characters like Constantine, Black Orchid, Zatanna, Deadman and Swamp Thing will be taking charge, the usual superheroes like Batman, Superman, and the rest of the League are also primary characters.

While the exact release date still hasn’t been announced, it has been confirmed that Justice League Dark will be out later this year.
