Marvel Studios: ‘Doctor Strange’ Inspired By Inception, Director’s Tweet Reveals

Earlier on Thursday, Twitter user ShockedHuh posted that he laughs “at the people that say doctor strange copied inception.” Later, Derrickson shared his insight on the claim by certain fans.
The director retweeted the tweet and said, “Inception is brilliant.” Furthermore, he complimented the film for its “amazing VFX.” But before concluding the text, Scott Derrickson revealed that “[Inception] inspired [him] to reach beyond it.” Check out his tweet below.
Inception was directed by Christopher Nolan and was nominated in major award-giving bodies in 2011. The movie won four Oscars for Cinematography, Sound Mixing, Sound Editing, and Visual Effects.
Currently, Doctor Strange is the next movie under Marvel Studios. The title is set to start the Marvel Cinematic Multiverse and has been rated PG-13.
Doctor Strange will be released on October 26, 2016. Benedict Cumberbatch will be playing the main protagonist. Rachel McAdams will be playing a supporting character.
