Marvel readers currently have their hands full as the superheroes transform at a rapid pace. Characters like Captain Marvel changed appearances, and others like Iron Man decided to pass down their suits to a new generation.
Recently, Marvel decided to transform Jessica Jones, Captain Marvel, Iron Man, Hulk and more. However, it looks like fans are definitely in love with them this time.
According to an exclusive report from Playboy, publishers sketched the fans’ favorite superheroes and superheroines into rappers from the The Wu-Tang Clan. The posters are similar to the hip-hop group’s variant cover released over the years.

Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso explained to Playboy through email, “Comics and hip-hop share a common narrative: They’re all about underdogs struggling, striving and persevering against overwhelming odds.”
He added, “So it’s no surprise that so many rappers have been influenced by the Marvel mythology or embraced the Marvel heroes over the decades. The hip-hop covers were our way of showing that the love is reciprocal. A lot of the writers, artists and editors that make Marvel Comics are inspired by hip-hop, and it shows in their work.”
Playboy has confirmed that the newly transformed images of Marvel characters will be “released throughout the fall.” Furthermore, the images teased Marvel TV fans currently expecting Luke Cage and Jessica Jones.
