“Doctor Strange” and “Captain America: Civil War” were two spectacular movies released by Marvel Cinema last year, which took the movie-watching world by storm. For movie lovers, here is some more good news. Marvel plans to release some more awesome movies in 2017. Here are what you should be watching out for:
Guardians of the Galaxy – Vol 2
Set to be released on 5th May, 2017 – as reported by International Business Times, this is one movie that everyone is anticipating with great excitement.
The exact storyline is not yet known; although it appears that the movie will focus on Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) learning more about his dad. Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista), Groot (Vin Diesel), Rocket (Bradley Cooper), Yondu (Michael Rooker) and Nebula (Karen Gillan) will be cast in the film, while new characters will also be included. There will be Baby Groot, who everyone is bound to fall in love with.
Spider Man – Homecoming
7th July will see the release of another Spiderman movie. This movie will be about a teenager Spiderman (Tom Holland), who is still learning to cope with his powers while dealing with school. Michael Keaton will star as the villain in this film. Along with amazing action scenes, the movie will also feature humor and will probably be lighter than tone.
Thor – Ragnarok
Thor – Ragnarok will be released on November 7th. The Hulk will also be a part of this movie. Thor’s brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) will be in the film, along with other old characters. There will be new villains; Grandmaster and Hela (Jeff Goldblum and Cate Blanchett). Apparently, Thor will look for his father on Earth, as this is where Doctor Strange ended – as reported by Cinema Blend. The movie will also feature space traveling.
The movie will be directed by Taika Waititi. There should be a lot of action in this film, so it will be perfect for action and adventure loving movie fans.
Films that will Start Filming in 2017
“Avengers: Infinity War” and “Black Panther” will start filming in 2017, although they are set to be released in 2018. You might still get to see some interesting trailers, though.
