Manny Pacquiao has returned to the training camp. The 37-year-old ace pugilist returned to Manila on Monday to start his final training session ahead of his third bout against Timothy Bradley.
Assistant Buboy Fernandez accompanied the legendary boxer on the first day of his training. Pacquiao was seen hitting mitts with him for warming up.
The Pacquiao-Bradley bout is scheduled on April 9 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Head trainer Fredfie Roach will land in Philippines on February 14. Serious training kicks off after that. But Pacquiao will train in the Philippines for 2-3 weeks before moving to Los Angeles gym for the final session, as reported by Rappler.
Manny Pacquiao has a stunning record of 57-6-2, with 38 knockouts. Retired two-division boxing champion Gerry Peñalosa, a close pal of Pacquiao, feels that an unforgettable fight awaits at MGM Grands.
“For sure this third fight would be better than the first two because Bradley would want to raise his stock in the sport since it won’t be his last fight,” Peñalosa told GMA News Online.
“As for Manny, he’s already training as early as now, so to me, it means he’s looking to put Bradley to sleep which he can should he really work for it.”
