What's This?

When Malia Obama was reportedly spotted smoking marijuana, she was allegedly with a boy.

It can be recalled that the First Daughter skipped the Democratic National Convention to attend the Lollapalooza last July 31.

While enjoying the set of Bryson Tiller, a witness reportedly managed to take a snap of her, allegedly a proof that she indeed tried smoking weed.

In an interview with Radar Online, 18-year-old eye-witness Jerrdin Selwyn shared that the daughter of President Barack Obama, Malia Obama, was only “a few meters away” from where he was standing, thus, giving him a good view of what she was allegedly doing while he “could smell the marijuana smoke coming from the cigarette she took a hit on.”

“I saw some young guy hand her a cigarette; she took at least one hit on it,” Selwyn narrated. “She had it in her hand for about one minute then gave it back to him.”

The eye-witness continued to reveal that the Secret Service was just “in the background” when the said scenario happened. He was not sure, though, if they saw Malia Obama allegedly smoking marijuana.

Considering that there is “proof,” would the daughter of the PLOTUS go to jail?

“The only thing that bothers me about Malia smoking pot, is there are several colleges kids out there doing the same think Malia is doing but they are either getting ticketed or put in jail,” Selwyn stated. “She gets to slide by because she is the President’s daughter.”

Meanwhile, Daily Mail explained that in Illinois, the place where the eldest daughter of the Obamas was allegedly found smoking marijuana, has a law decriminalizing it.

It means that although doing so remains illegal, the punishment and penalties are said to be lenient.

On Twitter, what Malia Obama allegedly did gained several reactions.

“Maybe we could use Malia Obama weedgate as an opportunity to talk sanely about ridiculous marijuana laws,” Jason Bunch wrote. “But it’s America, so probably not.”
